Trump accuses Ramaswamy of deceitful campaign tricks
In a recent post on his social media platform, Truth Social, former President Donald Trump criticized Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign, accusing him of disguising his support in the form of deceitful campaign tricks. Trump had initially praised Ramaswamy as a great supporter, but now feels that he has strayed from the true path.
Trump went on to claim that Ramaswamy is “not MAGA” and urged his supporters to not be duped by his tactics. Trump emphasized that a vote for Ramaswamy is a vote for the ‘other side’ and warned his followers not to waste their vote. He believes that the Biden Indictments against his political opponent will never be allowed in the country and that they are already starting to crumble.
Ramaswamy’s support pales in comparison to Trump’s
According to a recent Suffolk University survey, Trump enjoys overwhelming support among Iowa voters likely to participate in the upcoming election. The survey revealed that 54% of respondents backed Trump, while Ramaswamy garnered only 6% support. Nikki Haley, former ambassador to the United Nations in the Trump administration, secured 20% support, and another candidate received 13% support.
However, it is important to note that Ramaswamy’s campaign office did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment, so his perspective on the matter remains unknown.
It is worth mentioning that Ramaswamy recently filed an amicus brief at the Supreme Court in support of Trump’s efforts to remain on state ballots. In the brief, Ramaswamy argued that Trump’s political opponents are seeking to disqualify him from the ballot in multiple states because they fear they cannot defeat him in a free and fair election. He believes that disqualification under the Fourteenth Amendment should not be justified solely based on the distress of competing against a formidable opponent.
This development has added another layer of complexity to the ongoing political landscape, and it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold.
