Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has expressed his disapproval of Marcus Rashford’s visit to a nightclub following the team’s defeat against Manchester City, labeling it as “unacceptable.” However, Rashford has since apologized for his actions.
The incident occurred shortly after Manchester United’s disheartening 3-0 loss to Manchester City at Old Trafford. Despite Rashford’s struggle with form, managing just one goal in 14 games for the team this season, he was spotted celebrating his birthday at a nightclub.
In response to this behavior, Ten Hag stated during a press conference, “Yes, I am aware of it, I spoke with him about it. It’s unacceptable. I told him. He apologized. And that’s it. For the rest, it’s an internal matter.” Rashford’s actions have raised eyebrows, given his current performance struggles, but Ten Hag believes that apart from this lapse in judgment, Rashford continues to contribute positively to the team’s efforts.
