Micah Parsons: “It’s Mind-Blowing”
Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons expressed his frustration with the officiating after the team’s recent game against the Miami Dolphins. Speaking via the team’s website, Parsons criticized the calls and the challenging situations they put the team in.
“It’s mind-blowing, the things that are getting called, the positions we get put in,” Parsons said. “We just got to learn to fight the adversity and know a lot of it is BS. It’s football plays, but it’s the world we live in. We got the star on the helmet.”
Jerry Jones Weighs In
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones echoed Parsons’ sentiments during his radio appearance, shedding light on the impact these questionable calls have on the team and its star linebacker.
“They won’t call a holding penalty in a certain range of holding, usually, if they don’t think the player would’ve gotten to the quarterback to begin with,” Jones explained. “That doesn’t work for Parsons because he’s about to get there almost all the time. Anything that just limits him should be a hold.”
Parsons’ Stellar Season
Micah Parsons has been having another outstanding season in his third year with the Dallas Cowboys. With 13 sacks, 53 tackles, and 30 quarterback hits, he is poised to earn another All-Pro nod for his exceptional performance.
Dallas Cowboys Heading to the Playoffs
The Dallas Cowboys, currently holding a 10-5 record, are set to make their third consecutive playoff appearance. With a defense ranking fifth in points allowed and seventh in yards allowed, the team is poised for a strong postseason run.
