Royalty in the Podcasting World
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has inked a new deal with Lemonada Media to host her podcast, “Archetypes,” along with an upcoming original podcast series.
In an exciting announcement on Tuesday, it was revealed that Meghan’s 12-episode podcast series will be available for streaming on all audio platforms starting this spring through Lemonada Media, a prominent podcast network.
A Fresh Start for Meghan
“I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting,” Meghan expressed in a shared statement. “Our plan to re-release Archetypes so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast are well in the works. I’m so eager to be able to share it soon, and am overjoyed to be joining the Lemonada family.”
A Return to Podcasting
This return to podcasting for Meghan comes after a previous podcasting deal with Spotify ended. Last year, Spotify and Archewell Audio, the production company of Meghan and Prince Harry, mutually agreed to part ways.
The only podcast series that emerged from the Spotify deal was “Archetypes,” which won awards and accolades for its insightful content.
Exciting Collaboration
Meghan’s new partnership with Lemonada Media, a company founded by Jessica Cordova Kramer and Stephanie Wittels Wachs, promises to bring out more thought-provoking and entertaining content for listeners.
“The Lemonada team felt immediate kinship with Meghan and the Archewell Productions team, and we are delighted to be working together,” Wittels Wachs stated.
